Mr Desmond "Des" Donovan
1941 - 2024

Leave your mark with a memory, story or photo you want to share with family and friends.

Thanks Des, for being a loving and loyal companion to Isabel and a valued part of our family for many years.
You were always willing to help any of us, especially with mechanical problems and lawn mowers that wouldn’t start.
Your cheerful demeanour and ‘no nonsense’ approach reflected your true-blue Aussie nature.
Rest in peace, Des

Des was a great friend to Mum, and his friendly and caring nature was evident in the way that nothing was ever too much - he was always happy to help, share a laugh or give advice. He'd get a mime talking, and his warm nature endeared him to all those who met him.

Our deepest sympathies to his family, may he rest in peace.

My heartfelt condolences to Larissa, Paul and family on the passing of your Dad.
Des was a truly special person. He was a wonderful friend and neighbour to me.  He always had a smile on his face and the time for a chat.  He will be sadly missed.  Now reunited with Isabel.
My thoughts are with you all.

Des, a wonderful friend to my dad and our family. Both you and Isabel brought us all many great memories, from fishing, to camping (albeit next door to the cemetery in Port Fairy at the shed!), playing with the huge Lego tubs after dinner night with you both and of course the infamous Turkey, biting you when you were under the hood of our car!! You'll forever be remembered as "Des, the mechanic" but forever valued as "Des, Dad's mate". Flying high with Isabel, reunited…
